Barça to Host Historic Fixture at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday

Barça revealed they are set to host at the partially upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit the Basque side in La Liga 30 months after they moved out for construction to commence.

Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators are permitted inside under the licence granted. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, increasing from the former 99,000. Officials confirmed finished work included an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.

Stadium Testing

The club conducted a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch on 7 November. They mentioned they are seeking authorization by UEFA for their upcoming Champions League fixture versus the German side on 9 December in the renovated venue. Their recent games have been held in the temporary ground.
