Two Individuals Accused In Connection With Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Assault

Two individuals are now facing charges following a luggage theft where a believed to be capsaicin spray led to people being hurt at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and two counts of administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.

This legal action stems from an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after getting out of a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A toddler was caught up in the incident during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

The incident – described by police as was isolated and not being treated as terrorism – caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
